4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malicious software. These cookies store information related to the specific device. However, this does not mean that we gain immediate knowledge of your identity. One purpose of using cookies is to make your use of our offerings more pleasant. We use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited certain pages of our website, logged into your customer account, or used the shopping cart. These session cookies are automatically deleted when you leave our website. Additionally, we use temporary cookies that are stored on your device for a specified period to optimize user-friendliness. When you visit our website again, it is automatically recognized that you have already been with us, and your entries and settings are saved so that you do not have to re-enter them.

5. Analytics Tools
To design our pages according to your needs and continuously optimize them, we use various web analytics services. Pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies are used (see Section 4). Further information on the individual web analytics services and how to deactivate them can be found below.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., USA. The information generated by the cookie and potentially other automatically generated data about your use of our website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Before transmission, IP addresses are usually anonymized, making direct identification of your person impossible (IP masking). This information is used to evaluate your use of our website, compile reports on website activities for us, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. Your data will never be merged with other data collected by Google. Google will only transfer information to third parties if legally required by domestic or foreign regulations to which Google is subject in the respective case, or if other entities process this data on behalf of Google.
You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and processing this data by downloading and installing a browser add-on. Alternatively, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking this link. This will set an opt-out cookie that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. This opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only applies to our website. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will need to set the opt-out cookie again.
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help.
6. YouTube
We integrate videos on our websites that are available on the YouTube platform (Embedded Content). YouTube is a service of Google Inc. YouTube cookies are used to evaluate video views, create reports on video usage for the owner of a YouTube account, improve the user-friendliness of the service, and prevent unlawful use. Through the cookie, we receive statistical evaluations from YouTube regarding the retrieval of embedded videos on our websites. We have activated YouTube's "enhanced privacy mode," which is provided by YouTube, for all YouTube videos embedded on our websites. This means that YouTube only stores information if the embedded video is actually played by you. According to Google, no personally identifiable information is stored in this process. However, information can be linked to your person if you are logged in to YouTube or another Google service. If you do not wish this, we recommend that you log out of your Google account before playing an embedded video. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the corresponding settings in your browser software. Please note, however, that in this case, you may not be able to play the respective video, or only with limited functionality. Further information on data protection in connection with YouTube can be found, among other things, in the Google Products Privacy Guide and Google's Privacy Policy.
7. Data Security
All data you personally transmit is encrypted using the common and secure TLS (Transport Layer Security) standard. You can recognize a secure TLS connection, among other things, by the appended "s" in the web address (i.e., https://..) in your browser's address bar or by the padlock symbol in the lower part of your browser.
The servers we use for our website and cloud applications are located in data centers and are securely connected to the internet via a complex system architecture. The data centers are located within the EU, specifically in Germany.
In addition, we implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unintentional or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorized access by third parties. These security measures are continuously improved in line with technological advancements.

In addition, you can view and edit the data stored in your customer account by logging in to our website with your personal access data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. If personal data was not collected directly from you, you are entitled to information about the origin of this data.
